Since its start in 2019, the Young Professionals Leadership Program affords young leaders a cost-effective option to further their development, strengthen their leadership capacity, and establish pathways to leadership within their practice.

John's success was galvanized in the hospitality & tourism industry as a restaurant & hotel executive with a strong sense of teamwork, sales, and leadership.
Jonathan Rivlin, CPA, a Baltimore native now residing outside the beltway near the old Enchanted Forest in Howard County, was born for this profession. His father, David Rivlin, CPA took him to his office one day in 1986, and from there, it was only a matter of time. He graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1997 with a BS in Accounting – in 3 ½ years, becoming a CPA a few months later in 1998.
Ellen S Silverstein, CPA, works and lives in Clarksburg, MD (upper Montgomery County). As a lifelong Marylander, Ellen graduated from the University of Maryland in 1981. After working for a local MD CPA firm for two years, she then worked a two-year stint in the private sector. Another two years later, Ellen went back into public accounting and established her own firm in 1991.
William Feehley, CPA, is the Executive Director of MSATP. He is a graduate of the University of Baltimore with a B.S. degree in accounting and finance. He has worked in public accounting for nearly 35 years. Bill and his wife Donna are the owners of Accurate Business Services, LLC and have been serving their client’s needs for the past 25 years.
Christopher J. Williams has over 12 years of experience in public accounting specializing in financial services, cryptocurrencies, partnerships, high net worth individuals, and management companies. After graduating from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey - Newark with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2006 Chris worked in the New Jersey / New York Metropolitan area before moving to Maryland in 2018.
Sean is currently a Manager in the Assurance and Advisory department at Lombardo Ayers & Company, LLC in Annapolis, MD. Sean provides financial statement audit, review, and compilation services, as well as various forms of financial consulting to clients in many different industries, including construction, manufacturing and distributing, real estate, health care, and technology. He enjoys adding value to his clients by helping them achieve their financial and operational goals. Sean currently resides in Severna Park, MD with his wife and two young children.
The Young Professionals Leadership Program provides wonderful opportunities to network with mentors and peers, participate in leadership seminars and learn cutting-edge marketing/branding tools. These experiences have helped me gain self-confidence to start my own practice. I am grateful for the YPLP program and hope more young tax professionals will benefit from this wonderful program in the future!
